SHOCKING news! Truly shocking!

Now, I know this is out of the liberal cesspool that is the New York Times, but it appears that YET ANOTHER investigation has lead to the exoneration of one of the "Climategate" scientists!

Now, why, after splashing the initial "Climategate" story all over its front page, would you think that the uber-lib rag The Times would choose to run this little tidbit buried in the Science section?

Just a teeny tiny bit of consistancy would be nice, no?

Drives ya up a wall, doesn't it? That had to have been the dumbest "scandal" ever, well, until the silly Weigle Journolist crap, and the Kagan lesbian crap, and the...oh fookitall, we're just stupid. Our office got KFC for lunch yesterday, and the people who went to pick it up were complaining that the new hire didn't speak English. "Well, that's fast food joints for ya" they said. Funny, they expect others to be bi lingual, but damned if they have to learn another language or, dog forbid work at a fast food joint. It's an "I've got mine" world now, maybe a century living in the neo-feudal wasteland will get people pissed enough to change, but I doubt it. People like to not have to think. That's Bush's worst legacy, I think - he became a champion for the laziest and dumbest in our society. Oy.

And it was bound to happen - there's a fireworks stand in a church parking lot on my way home from work with big banners saying "Shock and Awe Fireworks." Never mind that the slogan represents millions of bombs dropped on a civilian population, destroying their country, and a presumably "pro-life" church is celebrating the nation what killed 'em, it's a catchy slogan! Grrr
