Big day for both teams. It's win and move on in the World Cup for both.

Ah, now I understand the appeal of the football thingy. Heh.
It's all about the competition.

WOW! What a heart stopper for the US team. Needed to win to advance and scored the games lone goal in stoppage time at the end of the game. Within a span of seconds they went from certain elimination to actually winning their World Cup group! Fun stuff.
Let's hope Germany decides to get out front in a bit less dramatic fashion.
One goal in a whole game? Oy. Let's see 'em handle 5 phone lines with cranky customers, then we'll see who is the better juggler! Grrr.
Finally got some sun today. Maybe my flowers will bloom. And I am one step away from having the wild chickadees in my yard eating seed out of my hands. It's the little things...
Another exciting group finish. With two games being played simultaneously all 4 teams had scenarios that would have seen them advance to the next round. Fortunately the Germans pulled out a second win to take first place in the group. Ghana, although losing to Germany today still advances on points and Serbia and Australia are going home. Serbia could have kept themselves alive and bumped Ghana with one more goal. Ouch!
So it'll be Germany taking on England in the next round and Ghana playing the USA.
